Thirteen years ago, I picked up a camera to capture images of my daughter. I have always been drawn to the arts through sketching, poetry, and writing, but I purely wanted to have more of the moments reserved in time than I had with my oldest. A significant longing for this was my parents deaths when I was a teenager. Both died from cancer... a long and emotional journey composed of a lot of highs and lows, regrets and risk, and a great deal of introspection. 

Little did I know that this medium of expression was a gateway into something so much more. I found myself drawn to intimate connections and human expression. Paired with my professional experience in behavioral modification, I began to deeply explore what creates lasting change for the individual.
